About the Role

Little Chess Champs (LCC) is looking for an enthusiastic and student-friendly School Activity Teacher to conduct Chess & Cognitive Skills sessions for school students in Mambakkam, Chennai.

The role focuses on engaging students through structured chess learning, logical thinking activities, and cognitive skill development across school programs and learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Chess & Cognitive Skills classes for students
• Manage classroom sessions in a structured and engaging manner
• Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by Little Chess Champs
• Teach chess fundamentals, puzzles, tactics, and logical thinking activities
• Encourage student participation and discipline during sessions
• Support school events, competitions, and activity coordination
• Maintain attendance and basic student progress updates
• Coordinate with school staff and LCC management when required

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and working with children
• Basic chess knowledge preferred
• Freshers can also apply
• Prior teaching or activity handling experience is an added advantage
• Female candidates and candidates near Mambakkam preferred

Training & Support

• Structured curriculum and teaching materials will be provided
• Internal training and guidance will be provided by LCC
