This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms applicable to tournament registrations, digital courses, institutional licenses, and physical product purchases made through LittleChessChamps.com.

1. Tournament & Event Registrations

Organizer Cancellations or Postponements

If a chess event or tournament is cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer:

  • Participants will be notified at the earliest.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the specific event’s stated refund policy.
  • In case of rescheduling, participants may choose to attend the new date or request a refund if permitted by the organizer.

LittleChessChamps.com acts as a registration facilitator and is not the event organizer unless explicitly stated.

Participant Cancellations

Tournament registrations are generally:

  • Non-refundable
  • Non-transferable
  • Non-cancellable

Unless the specific event details explicitly state otherwise.

If cancellation is permitted, terms and timelines will be mentioned in the event description.

No-Shows

Participants who fail to attend the event after successful registration will not be eligible for:

  • Refund
  • Credit
  • Transfer of registration

Force Majeure

In case of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Public health emergencies
  • Strikes or disruptions

Refunds (if any) will be at the sole discretion of the event organizer.

2. Digital Courses & Online Programs

This applies to:

  • Master Chess Program
  • Individual Learner Program
  • ChessKG
  • LMS-based institutional programs

Due to the nature of digital content and immediate access:

  • All digital course purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted.
  • 1-year access subscriptions cannot be partially refunded.

If duplicate payment or billing error occurs, refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days after verification.

3. Institutional LMS Licenses

For school or institutional licenses:

  • Refund terms are governed by the signed institutional agreement.
  • License fees are generally non-refundable once portal access has been activated.
  • Custom white-labeled portals are non-refundable once deployed.

4. Physical Products (Chess Grid Mathematics Workbook)

For physical product purchases:

  • Refund or replacement is allowed only in case of damaged or defective delivery.
  • Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Proof (photo evidence) may be required.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was on our side.

5. Technical / Payment Failures

If a payment is successfully charged but:

  • Registration is not confirmed, or
  • Course access is not activated due to technical error

The amount will be refunded within 5–7 working days after verification.

6. Platform Role Disclaimer

LittleChessChamps.com:

• May act as an event registration facilitator

• Is not responsible for organizer-level decisions

• Will assist participants in coordinating with organizers where applicable
