Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced School Chess Instructor to join our onsite education team. This role involves delivering structured chess sessions at partner schools, using our pre-designed curriculum to spark curiosity and build confidence in young minds. If you love teaching, have a strong background in chess, and enjoy working in a school environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate chess lessons at partner schools during school hours/after School hours.
• Conduct classes using the structured curriculum and lesson plans provided by our team.
• Foster an inclusive, fun, and interactive classroom environment.
• Highlight the value of chess in developing critical thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills.
• Track and report student progress to school coordinators and parents, when applicable.

Requirements

• Prior experience teaching chess, especially in a school or classroom setting.
• Strong command of chess fundamentals and effective teaching techniques.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to engage young learners.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and strong classroom management.
• Educational qualifications such as B.Ed, M.Ed, or M.Phil, or prior experience as a school teacher will be considered a strong advantage.
• Passionate about both chess and student development.
• Willing to travel to assigned school locations as per schedule.
